Kerem

“Coffee is part of my culture and the differences between coffees are great.”

Turkish-born Kerem has moved to Switzerland when he was 5 years old. Being a “foodie” with a multi-cultural background, he has always had this passion to enjoy the “good stuff of life”. One year ago he decided to turn his passion into business. As master licensee of Oil & Vinegar he opened his first “Oil & Vinegar” store (www.oilvinegar.ch), a high-quality food concept store close to Zurich, Switzerland and is getting ready for his second store close to Bern.

About coffee Kerem says: “Coffee is part of my culture and the differences between coffees are great – like differences between wines or, something closer to my heart, between different high quality olive oils. Unfortunately, despite the recent surges in labels and certifications you often don’t really know where your speciality coffee comes from. As I personally know the team behind Santa Tirsa, not only I do enjoy the very unique flavor of their shade-grown Arabica, but I also know the social and environmental responsibility is not just lip service, but based on true belief and conviction".
